- Kennel or Crate—Wal-Mart or Tractor
Supply has small cages that work great.
- Puppy pads—If you choose to use them.
You can use one in the cage.
- Puppy toys-- Make sure they are made
for small dogs. Children's toys can have small
parts that a puppy can easily remove.
- Chew toys (so he won’t chew on your
stuff)—I don’t recommend raw hides. I like pig
ears. Ask your vet what he recommends for a
small puppy.
- Harness—I recommend a harness. A
collar can injure their neck if they jerk too hard.
- Leash
- Bed—One for outside of their kennel. I
keep one in every room for my gang—In front of
the fireplaces, beside my computer, etc. That
way they will go to their bed or kennel if they
get sleepy.
- Blanket (A baby’s receiving blanket
works)
- Purina Puppy Chow or any food your vet
recommends.
- Food & Water dish
- Pet Carrier
